The following is important information regarding the 2024 Calgary Bull Sale for anyone interested in buying bulls. We hope this information is beneficial to you as you make plans to attend our 2024 bull show and sale.

BUYER REGISTRATION

The Alberta Cattle Breeders Association requires potential buyers to register and secure a bid card to participate in the 2024 Calgary Bull Sale.

​

Each potential buyer will be required to stop at the Sale Office to register and obtain a bid card. This will eliminate the buyer having to fill out a Sale Agreement for each bull purchased during the sale.  Please ensure you have your Premises ID number available as this information will be required to complete any sale agreements.

The Sale Office will be open Wednesday, March 6 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m and Thursday, March 7 starting at 8:30 a.m. for your convenience.

DELIVERY

Buyers and sellers will coordinate the delivery of bulls. Sellers and buyers must coordinate all necessary transportation arrangements and let the settlement office know. The seller is responsible for feeding and watering of bulls. Buyers must supply feed for the animal(s) while in transit.

INSURANCE

An insurance agent will be available on site. 
The Alberta Cattle Breeders Association strongly recommends that you insurance your purchase(s).

BID ONLINE

PRE-REGISTER TO BID ONLINE

Register online at dlms.ca as a bidder; it is easy and fast. Simply fill out the form on the “Registration” page to sign up for your free user account.

To be approved as a bidder, log in and click on the “Buyer Approval” tab, select Calgary Bull Sale and click to sign up. DLMS will then screen and credit check all new registrants. Once we have completed this process, your status will be changed to allow bidding. Log in on sale day to bid online just as you would at the sale. When the bid button is RED, you are in. If your bid is the final high bid, you own the lot.
